Let the treasure hunt begin!

The Toyota Sports 800 only had about 3000+ models in production in the late 1960s, currently 300+ units are still alive today. If finding the car itself is hard, what about the parts for the car and even if you can find the spare parts, what about the price for those spare parts...

While I'm in Australia, I've managed to find some parts surprisingly. Gasket sets, pedal rubber covers, front bonnet rubber stoppers, and the carburetor air filter service stickers. All these parts are not the original parts unfortunately, but they will have to do in order to keep the car alive.

Hopefully the next few things I can get are the internal engine parts, and some of the rubber parts for the car.

  1. your car is very cool and nice looking.. so how much you already spent for the car?? for me it's very hard to find the spare parts, as long it can be drive it's ok. What would you recommend?, if needed to modified the car so it can be drive only regardless some of it's originality
